The garden begins with an entry courtyard. A gravel drive circles a bed containing low plantings and an existing stone outcropping. On the opposite side of the house the grade drops off quickly. The 60 x 130 foot terrace, enclosing a lawn, mixed border gardens and bluestone patios, overlooks views of the distant ocean and the woods below.
