A four-story brownstone in a landmarked district with a dilapidated interior was demolished down to the side walls and structural flooring. The house was redesigned into a duplex with a new interior stair for the owners and two one-bedroom rental units on the two upper floors. The new interiors were designed to be sympathetic with the historic Victorian exterior while being a crisp, clean foil for the owner's extensive collection of American antique furniture.
