Awards

Howard Garden Designs has won numerous design awards, and its display gardens have been featured on tours by the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, the Newton Historical Society, and Russell's Garden Center. Howard Garden Designs received the highest award, the President's Cup, at the New England Spring Flower Show in 2007, 2005, 1997, 1995, and 1994.

In 1999 Howard Garden Designs was awarded the Boston Society of Landscape Architects award for "an exhibit of excellence in landscape design which conveys the underlying principles to the public."

In 1996 the company received a unique medal from the Royal Horticultural Society of Great Britain for "an exhibit reflecting the highest quality in horticultural tradition."

November 2008
The Newton Historical Society recognized Howard Garden Designs with a Preservation Award for the landscape restoration of a Chester Street home in Newton Highlands.
